About

One tile setter. Your whole project.

The Tile Guys is Robert Hedges. He owns the business, answers the phone, gives the estimate, and sets the tile.

A local tradesman, not a sales team

Robert is a husband, a father, and a long-time resident of San Luis Obispo County. He has spent more than 30 years at the tile trade, and today he runs The Tile Guys out of Santa Margarita.

People who have hired him mention the same things: he listens, he keeps the cuts clean, and he shows up. He will talk through the plan before he starts, including grout color when you want a second opinion.

Estimates are free. Work is priced by the job or by the day. Robert takes residential and commercial jobs across San Luis Obispo County, from a few cracked tiles to a full bathroom.

“He did such a great job that when we were finally ready to do the kitchen this summer, he was the very first person I called.”

What clients notice

  1. 01

    He listens first

Clients mention that Robert walks through the plan before he starts and asks questions, so the finished room is the one you pictured.

  2. 02

    Clean cuts, straight lines

The cuts and grout lines are the part that shows. Layout and prep come first so they line up.

  3. 03

    He shows up

Clients write about his punctuality, and one bathroom finished a day earlier than expected.
